Help with Accounts & Sign-In
Sorry you're having trouble! Our system is confusing. There are two different account types: - Alumni accounts: For graduates of any HBS program (MBA or Exec Ed)
- Non-alumni accounts: For current students, faculty, and staff
Alumni Accounts All alums already have an account, even if you've never been to the LGBTAA website before. You log in with your official HBS Alumni account. This uses your LEFA (Lifetime Email Forwarding Address), which looks like jgarland@mba1946.hbs.edu. To log in, go to the home page, then click the red "HBS ALUMNI" button on the top left. On the login page, enter the first part of your LEFA (e.g., jgarland@mba1946) and your HBS Alumni password. If you forgot your HBS password, or never had one, go here for help from the HBS Alumni office. LGBTAA volunteers can't access the LEFA system. Most sign in problems we hear are because alums accidentally created a non-alumni account. All you need to do is go to the home page, then click the red "HBS ALUMNI" button on the top left to sign in with your LEFA, as described above. Non-Alumni Accounts If you are already on our email list (or have logged in before), then you already have an account on our system. You can click here to get a temporary password emailed to you. If you are not on our email list yet, create an account by going to the Sign In page, then clicking at the bottom where it says "If you are NOT an alum, click here to sign in." Now press the "Register" button at the bottom left. When you have your password, click the Sign In link on the top right of the page. Now click at the bottom where it says "If you are NOT an alum, click here to sign in." Enter your email and password in the boxes on the bottom-right. --Evan
